Paul has more than 18 years of knowledge and experience in the audio visual industry, backed by an MBA and BSc in Engineering. During his BSc studies at UCT, in 2006, he established AVT.
He leads the company by example and believes that his most important role is to grow the business by creating a culture of customer centricity. He devotes the majority of his time to continuous cultivation and improvement of the business proficiencies, including studying new technologies, analysing global trends with a local focus, and building the brand with both external and industry role players.
His vision is to lead AVT to be the vendor of choice on the African continent.

Rachel has grown within AVT over the last 15 years, and has gained knowledge and experience in audio visual, focusing on projects and managed service operations. Her role encompasses quality control enabled by process implementation and management. She was previously responsible for distribution channel management, which allowed her to build valuable and long-term relationships with suppliers and gain in-depth product knowledge.
She sees customer centricity in managed service and project delivery as a key value, by maintaining operations within AVT to align with customer expectations. Sean is an experienced Systems Design Engineer and Systems Integrator with over fifteen years of professional experience in the audio-visual industry. He joined AVT in 2008 while completing a BSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering at UCT.
During this period, he had the opportunity to spend three years expanding his knowledge and experience at an international level at a New York based system integrator, and. His extensive technical knowledge in audio visual system design, digital dignage, direct-view LED systems, Technical and Project Management, Business Development are the basis for the technical direction for AVT. Sean overseas quality control initiatives, system design processes and internal training.
His passion for the industry and AVT drive his vision of a highly skilled technical and project team consistently delivering a world-class service.

Sean started his career in the media technology industry in 2006 when he joined what would grow to be the largest digital signage company in Africa, where he spent the next 15 years gaining experience across all levels of the business. As the business scaled, Sean quickly grew and moved through the ranks from Installation Team Leader, to leading the installation department and then into the role of KwaZulu Natal Branch Manager.
His strength in business operations came to the fore as he streamlined business processes, set up new departments, built teams and created new revenue streams which went on to make significant contributions to growth. This industry knowledge, together with experience at many levels within business, is an asset to AVT’s service department, where he strives to exceed customer expectations.
