Paul has 17 years of knowledge and experience in the audio visual industry, backed by an MBA and BSc in Engineering. During his BSc studies at UCT, in 2006, he established AVT.

He leads the company by example and believes that his most important role is to grow the business by creating a culture of customer centricity. He devotes the majority of his time to continuous cultivation and improvement of the business proficiencies, including studying new technologies, analysing global trends with a local focus, and building the brand with both external and industry role players.

His vision is to lead AVT to be the vendor of choice on the African continent.

With 14 years in the audio visual industry, Grant has acquired a vast range of knowledge and experience. As the commercial director of AVT, Grant heads up the AVT sales team and is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, determining optimal pricing and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Throughout his years of experience Grant has built many trusted client relationships and has overseen a great number of high-level projects. He is passionate about technology, dedicated, knowledgeable and pays attention to detail, ensuring that all solutions are delivered to the highest standard.

Rachel has grown within AVT over the last 10 years, and has gained knowledge and experience in audio visual, especially project delivery at the highest level.

Rachel’s role encompasses quality control enabled by process implementation and management.

She was previously responsible for channel management, which allowed her to build valuable and long-term relationships with suppliers and gain in-depth product knowledge.

Rachel brings excellent project delivery, stability and focus to the company, while ensuring that employees are motivated and passionate about their roles. She is passionate about AVT and is a fundamental member of the team.

Head of Digital Signage

Don has a vast range of knowledge and experience with over 20 years in the industry, backed by an executive development qualification. With an undeniable passion for the marketing and digital signage world, he has a keen eye for strategic brand management and product development. As head of digital signage Don oversees the digital signage department and is responsible for identifying new market trends, determining optimal pricing and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Don helps to bring financial and strategic growth for the AVT digital signage division, and his aim is to be the preferred company for digital innovation and customer centric delivery.

With over 15 years of experience in the audio visual industry together with a project management diploma, Marco has gained a large range of experience and knowledge.

Marco’s passion lies with customer delivery and support and ensuring these services are efficient and timeous. His responsibilities consist of managing service level agreements, service calls, and ensuring exceptional customer service is provided and delivered.

His passion and drive pushes AVT to provide world class service delivery.

Jonathan Kgatshe
Technical Manager

Jonathan has over 12 years of experience in the industry and holds an International IT Engineering Diploma obtained, from the University of Cambridge. He has a vast range of knowledge, a passion for technology and a dedicated drive for success at the highest level.

He started his career as a junior IT technician which allowed him to gain product knowledge and technical know-how. As the technical manager of AVT, Jonathan is responsible for allocating the technical team based on the skill sets of the different engineers.

Jonathan together with his experience and passion is building a dynamic and highly skilled AVT technical team, offering services of a high quality. He believes a great experience along with a world- class team is what will retain and keep customers coming back to AVT.

Tumi Dumasi
Regional Sales Manager: Corporate AV

Tumi has 15 years of experience within the audio visual industry and manages corporate audio visual sales for AVT, in the Gauteng region. Her experience is subsequently backed by her studies in Information Technology, extensive product knowledge and solution certifications. Tumi has also held multiple sales and management positions within the industry and completed a sales management course, at the University of Cape Town.

Tumi brings her in depth knowledge and experience of the South African Public Sector to AVT, helping grow this revenue stream.

Financial Manager

Chrisna is a qualified chartered accountant, with 9 years of experience in the industry. She has a vast range of knowledge having completed multiple internal courses, including a leadership course.

As the Financial Manager of AVT, Chrisna is responsible for the financial health of the company and ensuring that we meet our long-term financial goals.
